LeaseLine Financial Services Corp. operates under the trade name of LeaseLine Equipment and Vehicle Leasing (herein “LeaseLine”).  LeaseLine is an equipment leasing brokerage that is dedicated to helping our customers find the best possible lease rates by negotiating with one or more lenders on their behalf.  Our network of relationships with some of the industry’s most prominent lease and financing lenders allows us to efficiently place a deal in the market to achieve the best results possible for our customers.

 

PRIVACY POLICY

At LeaseLine, we understand the importance of privacy and the protection of personal information. Doing business with a financial services provider, such as LeaseLine, necessarily involves personal information, and we have always placed the highest priority on ensuring confidentiality of our customers.  This privacy policy is our commitment to the protection of our customers’ privacy and any personal or sensitive information they disclose to us. We appreciate the trust our customers have placed in us, and we will protect that trust by ensuring that the privacy and confidentiality of their information is protected even if our formal customer relationship ends.  Our use of personal information is limited to the purposes described in this policy and we do not trade, barter, exchange or disclose for consideration any personal information we have obtained.  The following privacy policy explains how we collect, use and protect the information about our customers

 

CUSTOMER CONSENT

Our customers’ provision of personal information to LeaseLine means that they agree and consent to our collection, use and disclosure of their personal information in accordance with this privacy policy.  Such consent can be obtained in writing as part of our standard or online credit application forms, or it can be provided verbally or by text or email communication.  All such written authorizations, communication and correspondence is logged for ongoing auditing and compliance purposes.  In most cases, and subject to legal and contractual restrictions, an individual is free to refuse or withdraw his or her consent at any time upon reasonable advance notice.

 

COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

LeaseLine necessarily requires personal information from its customers including, but not necessarily limited to, credit applications with full legal names, birth dates, social insurance numbers, addresses, as well as information regarding net worth, such as equipment and property owned by a customer and associated creditor information.  LeaseLine may also require supporting documentation including personal income tax forms, property tax assessments and financial statements as an example.  All such information and supporting documentation (collectively herein, “Personal Information”) may be provided to LeaseLine by mail, phone, email, text message, DocuSign or other electronic means, or in person, and all such Personal Information, correspondence and communication will be logged and used by LeaseLine and/or its agents for the purpose of obtaining financing for our customers as well as any ongoing auditing or compliance that may be required or associated with a customer’s financing arrangement.  Personal Information may also be used by LeaseLine for ongoing marketing to our customers.

 

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Our customers’ Personal Information, correspondence and communication with LeaseLine is a vital part of our ongoing business relationship with them. LeaseLine will only disclose such information in the following circumstances: (a) if our customers request or consent to the disclosure as contemplated herein; (b) on a confidential basis to third parties such as credit reporting agencies, lenders and financial institutions or their agents as it relates to the lease or financing application being considered as the case me be from time to time; (c) for fraud prevention or reduction of the risk of fraud; (d) if the disclosure is required or permitted by law; (e) for ongoing auditing or compliance purposes; and/or (f) to verify, on an on-going basis, a customers’ continued eligibility for a lease or finance arrangement.

 

CONFIDENTIALITY, SECURITY AND INTEGRITY INFORMATION

LeaseLine restricts access to information about our customers to only those employees or agents as may be needed to provide our customers with our products and services.  LeaseLine endeavors to maintain appropriate physical, procedural and technical security, to the degree reasonably possible, to prevent any loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure or modification of Personal Information, correspondence and/or logged communication with LeaseLine and/or its agents.  This also applies to the disposal of information after it is no longer required for the reasons it was collected.  We audit our procedures and security measures from time to time to ensure they remain effective.
